Moment of Inspiration
Duties and responsibilities require a moment of inspiration. All those pieces of life that must be done in order to continue to live in your present condition such as mowing the lawn, house cleaning, dishes, and paying the bills are often spiritually empty. Perhaps that is because you feel like you have to do them.

You don't, you have a choice. You also have a choice in attitude.
When you teach your children to pick up their rooms it works well to make a game of it. The game is a moment of inspiration. “Lets find everything red and put it away” “Now let’s put everything that is a square shape away.” And so on.
You can choose to make a game of your chores, too.
Take cleaning house for instance. It can be done room by room, or task by task. If you love to redecorate, choose one room to make changes in. Maybe move furniture, maybe add a plant or vase of flowers, or maybe change the pillows and “throws” in the room. What ever your moment of inspiration leads you to. You’ve now turned a task into a creative endeavor and have fed your spirit rather than letting a duty drain your energy. You are no longer doing it out of guilt wishing were outside or completing some other fun assignment.
Do you dislike going grocery shopping? See if you can order groceries on line and have them delivered. A Moment of Inspiration
The task of making dinner each night is a choice of survival. If you love to create try to get fancy once a week. Chances are you will receive glorious praise for days.
Yard work is fun for some of us. Tending flowers is often a spirit lifting experience. Allow yourself to get inspired by colors, fresh air, and pleasing smells.
Doing laundry is a challenge just to find the time, isn’t it? Washing it isn’t that big a deal. You can wash one load here and another there. But once it's dry the folding needs to get done right then, and putting it away nice and neat is just a chore. Try putting music on, put a movie in, or get the kids to help. Find your moment of inspiration.

The key is attitude, remembering it is a choice. It is the key to everything you want your life to be. You know you can't change your life over night. Some times anger, frustration,and... Darn It!--it just happens. You react. Just practice. Clue in to when you are feeling or behaving negatively. That's when you breathe and relax; then focus on your spirit, welcome the moment of inspiration, and move on. Forget the past moment. Don't beat yourself up later, or focus on what happened-focus on THE FUTURE. Try just looking at one day at a time. You may also, benefit from following an appointment with a spontaneous activity that will feed your spirit and bring you peace.
Life is about balance. After finishing an “I have to” activity allow yourself an “I want to” gift. A
