Negative Inspiration

What is Negative Inspiration?Today is full of sadness, ecological disaster, unemployment,families are losing their homes and children are growing up in shelters. Lots of negative.

So what do you do with all this bombarding you all day? You have a choice. Remember God's freedom is about giving you the choices of good or evil. The good choice is to take the negative inspiration as a challenge. Remember God is waiting to help. When you choose to bring Him into your life each day you will have positive gifts given to you continuously. The more gifts you notice open you to the many positive and happy things going on each day.
2 Peter 1:3-8
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the word caused by evil desires.
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control, and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your other choice is to get caught up in the sad ugliness presented to us in the news day after day. You will then feel hopeless and insignificant. Your focus is inward. God is outward. The more you believe your life is a terrible struggle without much good in it you are right.

Negative inspiration today tells you how many hundreds of thousands of gallons of crude oil are poisoning God's creation each day. How many families are unable to continue years of tradition making a living from gifts in the water and around the water. Our president trying to hold a corporation responsible. Don't forget how many young fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers, daughters and sons have been killed in countries across the world.
Focus on the prices of groceries and fuel going up, your salary not rising because the company you work for can't afford to continue if each employee gets the money they deserve.
Focus on the changing climate. More severe weather surrounds us. More rain, no rain, excessive heat, colder than ever. Floods, drought, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

We all react to things differently. If you gain energy and become focused to achieve when you are told you are incapable you are using negative inspiration.

Some children thrive on rising above the negative in school and then grow up and are able to turn negative (inspiration)feedback into positive energy in all areas of their life.

Choose to promote God's promises in simple ways. While on your city streets you will often see people choosing to avoid eye contact. Look ahead to the people coming down sidewalks and you can usually catch their eyes looking in your direction. Flash your smile and even say, "hello." Nine times out of ten you will get a smile and nod back. You have planted a seed of God's love that will continue beyond your comprehension.

Isaiah 55:10-13
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers a myrtle will grow this will be for the Lord's renown, for an everlasting sign which will not be destroyed.

While working it is difficult to feed your passion. Don't forget God is always beside you, and try to pass on the warmth and strength He gives you to those around you each day. You can easily become overwhelmed by all your responsibilities and put pressure on yourself. You can become stressed and question your self worth if you're not careful.

You can use these feelings as negative inspiration if you choose to. Life is happier and easier when you choose to turn around and head toward the sun instead of getting pulled down into the sludge. You will have more energy, feel physically better, and can focus on the gifts and beauty that surround you. Does that mean you looking at the world through rose colored glasses? Life is what we make it.

You can take the negative inspiration any way you choose. Choose to use each negative situation as motivation for change.

But hearing negative thoughts can have the opposite effect. Negative inspiration can cause some people to focus only the negative. Remember God gives you the choice.
When you concentrate on negative thoughts and feelings you are choosing to be negative. Only by tuning in to your goals and dreams can you begin to have a positive life. That's how to turn negative inspiration into positive motivation.

Is this a difficult period in all our lives? Yes! Are daily depressing and frightening facts being shown to us? Yes! The increasing stress in the world around us is profound and palpable. All this is true, and the seemingly easy thing to do is go with the flow, become part of the sludge, and see only the negative around us.

Choose this time of negative inspiration to purposefully turn away from the darkness and seek the sun each morning. You know that just as the darkness returns each day so does the sun rise. The skies are cloudy and it seems dreary but the sun is still there. When you look for rays of sunshine around you you can see them. There are many positive things happening every single day. It takes effort to turn away from the focus of the world, but once you do your life becomes full of positive events and warm feelings.
