Hi, my name is Dru and this is my current profile.

I am the mother of a son and a daughter.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and more than 30 years of Pediatric Nursing experience.
I have worked in Alabama and Washington State.

I have been privileged to have lived and traveled in South America. I can speak English and Spanish, and have a basic knowledge of American Sign Language.
I have also had experience as a lifeguard and teacher.

I describe myself as having two brains.
I am a scientist and love to have facts. I am most comfortable when everything fits into a nice little box.
I also have a Creative brain that gets inspired to recreate my interpretations of nature.

An important piece of my profile: I am a Christian.
I believe that God the Father created each piece of the universe. Whether he created each cell or each finished article doesn't matter to me. I understand science and the natural selection of mutation. God the Father did it.

A more personal profile:
I am pretty serious by nature.
Once I feel comfortable I have a dry sense of humor and love to make people laugh.
I am very content to stay at home on our 6 acres with my family and pets.

My artsy side plays the guitar and piano; likes to sing, draw, paint, and create;also likes to write and garden.

I am currently working full time as a Nurse Manager for a community Health Center. I am learning tons about myself and the people I work with. I need to remind myself daily that God can handle things much better than I can.

I love to discover new things especially outdoors. I recently fell in love with riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
