Yoga Inspiration
Yoga inspiration helps to begin your day with confidence and a positive outlook.
On those mornings when the skies are cloudy, the surfaces wet with last nights rain, and it's cold with a dampness that permeates to your bones it takes great effort to crawl out of a warm bed. The thought comes to your mind, "I don't feel like doing anything today."
That's not very inspirational, is it?

You have a choice. You could sit down and slowly enjoy your coffee, or slowly wake up your body with a little yoga.
Choose yoga because when you do your mood will brighten, your body gets to work a little, and when you consistently begin at least 4 mornings a week this way your weight will magically stay within the range you want it to without any other effort. This is your yoga inspiration.
Yoga lightens your mood because it makes you practice breathing correctly (with your stomach) see how
here.
Just breathing this way allows you to relax.
As one yoga instructor said,"Our practice is an opportunity to feel. Try not to fight with your body."
Feeling is a scary thing. A huge population of people on this world use drugs and alcohol so they can't feel. But choose to feel. Gain peace and hope from breathing and feeling.
You fight with your body. The older you are the easier it is to understand this in the physical sense. We often learn to hide our emotions over the years. It starts with trying not to let your siblings know when you are afraid to keep up. Then in school you don't want the teacher to know that you don't understand. Controlling your body and all it's emotions becomes a skill. You may become an expert at hiding the emotions you are feeling, but the result is you also become "up tight".
That has it's consequences. The day comes when years of suppressed emotion grow so big that they burst out all over.
Choose to take the opportunity to feel. Yoga inspiration is a gift. Let it remind you not to fight with your body, to relax and breathe, and allow yourself to enjoy the experience of each day as it unfolds around you.
